Sunday Funday!

Spent the morning watching the Cardinals lose.  Boo.  Went out to the shop about 1, and started sanding some of the excess epoxy off of the Transom piece.  Everything laid up really well from last night and the epoxy kicked after about 6-7 hours.  I removed all of the clamps this morning to check things out.  Making really large pieces of plywood isn't so bad.

Gary and I them moved the long piece off the work table and I got to work with the router on more scarf prep.
While Gary got most of the side panel laid out.
The router nut that holds the vertical position loosened up on me.  Gotta repair that now.
Used some epoxy and saw dust mixture to patch the gouge in.  Should be able to sand this down tomorrow before we scarf the bottom panel.

Here's the next large 1/4" side panel ready for epoxy.  Not perfect, but not terrible.
Now the joint is cooking.
Contemplating our next move.  More scarfing, more scarfing, more scarfing.  Then time to cut the sides and build the boat!
Back at it tomorrow.
